Stress Grading Semi Conductive Tape

Vidstress semi conductive tape consists of finely woven polyester glass fabric impregnated evenly with an electrically semi conductive varnish with silicon carbide cured at B stage.

The inclusion of silicon carbide gives defined resistance properties depending upon the applied voltage. It can be used for temperatures upto 155 degree centigrade as class F insulation suitable for VPI and Resin Rich processed machine.

The tape can be supplied with or without selvage.

Usage

Used as stress grading tape for the overhang and main wall insulation of high voltage electrical coils and bars using VPI and Resin Rich Technology.
